1) Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your location, if higher) to use the Service and publish a profile. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3) The Service
The Service lets you create an account using your email and a password, verify your email, and create a biodata/profile ("Profile"). You may publish a Profile that is accessible via an unlisted shareable link ("Public Link"). Anyone with the Public Link can view the published content.
4) Account Security and Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5) Profile Rules (Photos, Publish, Edits)
Photo requirement: you must upload at least 3 photos to publish your Profile, and you can upload up to 5 photos. Locked fields: after you publish your Profile, First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth cannot be changed for that email account. All other Profile information may be edited by you after publish.
6) Unpublish / Temporarily Private
You may temporarily unpublish your Profile. When unpublished, visitors who open your Public Link will see that the Profile is temporarily private/unpublished.
7) Public Link Disclosure (Important)
If you publish, you understand your Profile is intended to be viewable by anyone who has the Public Link (including non-users). People who view your Profile may copy, screenshot, download, or re-share your content outside the Service, and we cannot control that third-party use.
8) User Content
"User Content" includes your Profile details, photos, and any content you submit. You own your User Content, but you grant us a license to display it as needed to operate the Service.
9) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to impersonate others, harass, upload illegal content, or scrape data. The Service may not be used for scams or fraudulent activity.
10) Moderation and Enforcement
We may remove content or terminate accounts for violations. We cooperate with law enforcement where required.
11) Deletion and Re-Registration
You may delete your account from within the app at any time. For step-by-step instructions and to understand what data is deleted or retained, visit here.
12) Disclaimers
The service is provided "As is" and "As available." We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13) Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed INR 10,000, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14) Future Paid Plans
The Service is free for now. Subscriptions or paid features may be introduced later with advance notice to users.
1) Summary: Public Profiles and Public Links
If you publish your Profile, the information you choose to publish (including your photos) is viewable by anyone with the unlisted Public Link. Be intentional about what you share.
2) We Collect Personal Data
We collect account data (email, hashed password), Profile data (name, date of birth, biodata), photos (3–5), and communications. We also automatically collect device and log data when you use the Service.
3) How We Use Personal Data
We use data to manage your account, provide core features, maintain safety, and improve the Service. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4) Marketing Emails (Opt-In)
We send marketing emails only if you actively opt in during registration or later. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
5) Sharing and Disclosure
We share data with the public (via Public Link, if you publish), with service providers who help us operate the Service, and for legal or safety reasons when required by law.
6) Our Main Processor (Supabase)
We use Supabase for database infrastructure and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase's servers and governed by their data processing agreements. See supabase.com/privacy for details.
7) Data Retention and Deletion
We retain certain data for up to 1 year after account deletion for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Your account will not be accessible after deletion. To view more information, visit here.
8) Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies on our website to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We may add analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve the Service. These tools do not identify you personally.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your personal data. Please also protect your own password and device — your account security is a shared responsibility.
10) Your Choices and Rights
You can edit most profile fields at any time, unpublish your Profile to make it private, or request full account deletion by contacting support. You may also request a copy of your data.
11) Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately at hello@joinbaarat.com.
